Many school teachers have struggled to adapt to an online learning environment, finding student engagement difficult especially for elementary and junior high students. Specialist subject teachers – in the creative arts, drama, sciences – have been especially challenged to create practice opportunities for their students and to offer authentic assessment. Teacher educators – those who teach teachers – have also found this work a challenge, with many of their former students calling back for advice and support. This book seeks to offer help and advice to teacher educators, given that we look to be moving to a more hybrid learning world with online becoming an ongoing option for many jurisdictions around the world. Ten chapters with insights.
