Learn how to use the AI Teaching Assistant Pro to support your teaching. AI Teaching Assistant Pro is a free Digital Assistant developed by Contact North | Contact Nord. It enables instructors to:

  • Create multiple-choice questions.
  • Create essay questions complete with scoring rubrics.
  • Enter a topic or upload their own content to generate questions.
  • Create a course syllabus complete with course description, learning outcomes, session-by-session breakdowns, and teaching notes.
  • Create and download a PowerPoint presentation based on the generated syllabus.

A pioneer in teaching and learning with the web since its early days, Dr. Owston  specializes in the evaluation of technology-based educational programs across multiple sectors. His extensive body of work includes numerous publications in top-tier journals and significant contributions to the field of blended learning in higher education.

He is a university professor emeritus, former dean of the Faculty of Education, and founding director of the Institute for Research in Learning Technologies at York University in Toronto, Canada.
