This Week’s Must-Read Book
on Online Learning

Staying Online:
How to Navigate Digital Higher Education

CN_EN_5_June162021.jpg

By Robert Ubell

Bob Ubell is a distinguished member of the online “guru” community and an excellent writer. This book is one of his best contributions. Written at the height of COVID-19 in the US (it has a very North American feel), the book seeks to address the question: what happens after the pandemic with online and flexible learning? He explores scaling up, outsourcing and insourcing of digital learning development, the future of MOOCs, ethical issues and bias, cheating and online predators as well as the challenge of finding and keeping online learners. For policy-makers and administrators this is a good, quality, quick read. Due for release in September.
