Explore online innovations at universities in Nova Scotia, Canada, which deliver new content, resources and a program planning tool.

Learn how, in response to a need for educational opportunities for Indigenous learners and about Indigenous history, culture and knowledge, Cape Breton University offered an online course on Mi’kmaq oral history and traditional knowledge, presented by Indigenous people. The course was offered globally through streaming and as an on-campus credit.

Delve into the structure and pedagogy of an online anatomy course offered to over 1,000 students annually at Dalhousie University, with lectures, readings and assignments supplemented by The Virtual Anatomy Laboratory, a series of 12 x 15-20 minute videos of actual dissection labs, with voice over explaining the visuals.
