Book Review

Norwegian Marten Flate Paulson, a pioneer of online and distance education, a leader, connector, coach and mentor for many, has been at the forefront of major developments in online and distance learning for more than 35 years. He led ICDE and EDEN, and pioneered other organizations that advocated and supported others across Europe. These self-published chronicles of his journey are a rich and meaningful historical resource full of case histories, biographies, encounters and stories. Readers who have been on this journey will find memory-joggers and contexts for their own experience. Those who are new to his work will benefit from understanding the journey to the present, which will inform the future.
