Jeffrey Selingo is editor at large of the Chronicle of Higher Education, so he has seen a thing or two about the US college and university system. When this was published – it was not new, but it is worth your time to read it – digital technologies were still being positioned as “poised to disrupt and transform”, something that is happening at the same pace as Brexit – slowly and painfully, especially in the US where enrolments are falling and higher education is in crisis.
