Book Review

Although “personalized learning” has become a buzz phrase, not many people know what it actually means, which is to empower learners to pursue a journey on which they have a variety of interactions with knowledge, people and settings in order to master understanding, skills and competencies. If you would like to know how to do this well, this book is a solid, grounded and practical introduction to how to make personalized learning work. There are 10 helpful chapters, including one that explores the way in which AI systems and instructors can partner with learners for coaching, mentoring and guidance. Well written and practical.
