Dr. Kukulska-Hulme is Professor of Learning Technology and Communication at the Institute of Educational Technology (IET) where she leads the Learning Futures research and innovation program. Dr. Kukulska-Hulme has been an integral part of IET since 1996. She is renowned for her expertise in mobile learning, having spearheaded various projects such as the EU MOTILL project on mobile lifelong learning, the EU MASELTOV project's Learning Services for social inclusion of immigrants, the British Council-sponsored research on Mobile Pedagogy for English language teaching and on marginalization in low-resource contexts, and the SALSA project on language learning in urban settings for the next generation of smart cities. Dr. Kukulska-Hulme's extensive publication record includes more than 300 journal articles, papers and books. Her leadership roles in the academic community include associate directorships, deputy directorships and program leadership positions. Her impressive career reflects significant contributions to the field of mobile learning and educational technology.
