Developing Open Educational Resources in French and English for Students of Organic Chemistry at the University of Ottawa, Canada

Dr. Alison Flynn at the University of Ottawa collaborated with the Centre for Innovative Pedagogies and Digital Learning of the Teaching and Learning Support Service to create open and online tools in both English and French - OrgChem101.com and Chimieorg101.

Students use the tools to learn at their own pace, receive accurate feedback in real-time and improve their metacognitive skills. They can also identify and address their strengths and weaknesses in understanding organic chemistry concepts.
