Using ICT to Support Thesis Completion, Highlighting the Example of a Thesis Project to Develop a Tool for Online Language Learning for Immigrants, at Stockholm University, Sweden
The Department of Computer and Systems Science at Stockholm University in Sweden created SciPro, a tool for students preparing a thesis offering support and advice on topic selection, research, thesis requirements, self and peer assessment, communication, and use of technology. Thesis quality showed considerable improvement. One thesis project on helping immigrants with online language learning is detailed.
