| No Magic Bullet! |
|
The lesson of EdTech hype is simple – there is no “magic bullet”. Using Lightboards to Successfully Teach Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Subjects Online
A McMaster University Innovation
Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (ET)
Register Now!
Learn how to use a lightboard to teach online both synchronously and asynchronously to engage students.
A lightboard allows faculty and instructors, with little technical knowledge, to create online sessions that are closer to the real classroom experience. Lightboards work great for subjects where problem-solving is central to the discipline, such as in science, technology, engineering, and math, but they can also enhance teaching in any subject, as it acts like a blackboard or whiteboard.

Host: Michael Justason, Program Chair, Civil Engineering Infrastructure Technology and Assistant Professor, Faculty of Engineering, McMaster University
