Book Review

This edited collection of insightful and critical-reflection material from around the world explores the practicalities of trying to personalize learning in a variety of fields: mathematics, medicine, English as a foreign language. This is both a strength (we get to look at different approaches in different settings) and a weakness (the book feels disjointed.) The editors do try pull this together in a final chapter exploring the future of personalized learning, but it remains very much a hyped term. Readers may find some of the specific examples here helpful.
