The Dominican University College sees the convergence of its interests with those of the other Aménagement Linguistique Policy (PAL) partners in the following areas:

  1. The contribution of courses within programs offered by other postsecondary institutions as part of targeted cooperation;
  2. The use of the international Dominican and Jesuit connections to offer distance programs (understanding the difficulties of a hybrid mode in which foreign students are required to study in Canada, taking into account the time to obtain student study permits and faculty work permits);
  3. Creation of a joint “ethical” core that can be used in engineering, business and commerce and health programs, etc.;
  4. The use of courses such as the Church history inside modules on the history of the ideas in transitional social sciences and/or literature programs;
  5. The development of marketing strategies for personal interest courses not leading to diplomas that do not fit in with the institution’s student retention or customer loyalty goals.

The detailed fact sheet can be found in Appendix 5 of the accompanying document. This fact sheet is available in French only.
